James attended Lehigh University for his undergraduate degree in Biology, where he worked in Dr. Vassie Ware’s lab researching the expression of ribosomal protein paralogs in meiotic mutant Drosophila and their mating behavior. Pursuing his passion for research and neuroscience, James is investigating the neural mechanisms of semaglutide in obese models. He enjoys weightlifting, hiking, cooking, and horror movies.
