Alexis is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. Her research experience comprises of working as a Public Health Field Researcher to help assess parental decision making about illness disclosure to HIV-infected children in African American and Latino families at UCLA Semel Institute.

She graduated as a master’s student at Rutgers University Newark with a concentration in Pharmacological Sciences. Outside of the lab you can find Alexis discussing the current state of the Los Angeles Lakers, drinking specialty coffee at the local café (her home), or traveling to places that bring her joy.
